DAR Caraga launches "DAR DAMAyan" initiative to support personnel amidst calamities

During the recently concluded Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Caraga’s Employees’ night and PRAISE Awarding Ceremony on September 20, 2024, the Regional Office has launched a heartwarming initiative called "DAR DAMAYAN," a testament to the department's unwavering commitment to its personnel's welfare.

The recent onslaught of typhoons, man-made disasters, and health emergencies, have left many DAR Caraga personnel grappling with loss and hardship. And as part of Bb. Agraryo 2024 Caraga Lee Monica S. Amper’s advocacy to uplift women as pillars of the community, she has committed to spread and contribute to this movement. She stated, “the impact of "DAR DAMAyan" extends far beyond material donations. It serves as a poignant reminder that even in the darkest of times, the DAR Caraga family stands united, ready to extend a helping hand to those affected by calamities and diseases. And this is what I would want to be exemplified and witnessed by our farmer beneficiaries, especially to the rural women that DAR cares, and we will not leave anyone behind.”

As the "DAR DAMAyan" initiative continues to grow and evolve, it is poised to become a
