Malabon recognized as most sustainable, livable city in Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Malabon has been recognized as the most sustainable and livable city in the country.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval received the award during the Nation-builders and Most Sustainable and Livable (MOSLIV) Awards held in Okada Manila in Parañaque City last Friday night.
The city government said it received the award for its successful implementation of programs for the cleanliness, environmental protection and growth of the city.
Sandoval was also recognized as the best local chief executive of the year for her leadership of Malabon.
“These awards have been achieved because of our unity to attain the goal of continuous improvement and development,” the local government unit said in a statement.
