Meralco’s total System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) or the average number of interruptions that a customer experienced in a year has been steadily going down. At 1.041 times by the end of 2024, this was even lower than 1.194 times in 2023.
Similarly, its total System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) or the average duration of interruptions that a customer experienced in a year improved to 108.213 minutes from 123.708 minutes.
