Other provinces should emulate Nueva Ecija's rice production success – GP party-list

(UPDATE) MANILA, Philippines — Galing sa Puso (GP) Party-list aims to introduce a measure that will enable provinces to replicate Nueva Ecija's success in rice production, its first nominee, lawyer Jan Rurik Padiernos, said.

Padiernos made the announcement as rice prices remain high despite global price drops and recent tariff reductions. The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Monday declared a food security emergency on rice amid high prices of the staple.
