Paramount+ to Launch in Thailand Within Monomax Streaming Platform
Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Paramount Global Content Distribution today announced a new licensing agreement with MONO in Thailand to create a Paramount+ brand extension on the streamer Monomax, scheduled to launch in November.
The deal, which expands Paramount’s strategy to expand the Paramount+ brand in more ways around the world, was announced Thursday at the APOS conference in Indonesia by Lisa Kramer, president, international content licensing, global content distribution, Paramount.
In some territories, such as Japan, the service is a standalone direct-to-consumer product..
In others, it exists as a branded destination through licensing deals. Branded areas are currently available via Cosmote in Greece, Streamz in Belgium, MultiChoice in Africa, JioCinema in India.
It will also launch on Blast TV in the Philippines.
In its first year, the new Paramount+ branded hub will offer Monomax subscribers access to content from Showtime, CBS Studios and Paramount Pictures. These include popular series FBI: International, NCIS, NCIS: Sydney, Mayor Of Kingstown, Tulsa King and Halo.
It will also include blockbuster features Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts, Hellraiser and the “Mission: Impossible” franchise.
