Last January 29, an American Airlines plane and Black Hawk Helicopter collided over Washington, D.C. Among the reported casualties is our very own Pol. Col. Pergentino Malabed, Jr., the current chief of the PNP supply management division. Tanggapin po ninyo ang buong puso kong pakikiramay sa pamilya at mga naulila ng ating kasamahan sa serbisyo.
PCol. Malabed was reported to be on an official trip for a pre-delivery inspection of armored vests for the PNP. He was fulfilling his duty to ensure that our men and women in uniform are well-equipped and ready to serve.
Today, in honor of PCol. Malabed, we follow his footsteps, his dedication. Let us craft a law that will grant the PNP and its personnel the protection they deserve in performing their sworn duty to serve and protect.

Sapat lamang na ating pagtuunan ng pansin ang mga panukalang makatutulong sa miyembro ng ating kapulisan.
In addition to the PNP bills, we will also consider the amendments to the Anti-Hazing Law - a measure that was crafted in 1995 and amended in 2018 to prohibit any form of hazing. Notwithstanding our campaign against hazing, we still hear unfortunate stories of its victims, whose lives have been either scarred, and for the worst part, taken away.
