Report: Spurs acquire Fox, Kings get LaVine in three-way NBA trade
MANILA, Philippines — Victor Wembanyama has company.
The San Antonio Spurs have traded for point guard De’Aaron Fox in a three-team trade that also brought Zach Lavine to the Sacramento Kings, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Monday morning (Manila time).
Full trade:

The Spurs, currently at 21-25, has now a potent dynamic duo with the partnership of the 7-foot-4 Wembanyama and the speedy guard Fox, who was an All-Star back in 2023.
Aside from Fox, San Antonio also received Jordan McLaughlin.
For the Kings, they will receive Lavine, Sidy Cissoko, three future first round picks and three second round picks.
The Bulls will take in Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and their own 2025 pick which they received from the Spurs.
San Antonio will now hand over the keys to the offense to Fox, who is averaging 25.0 points, 6.1 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
He is joining a core made up of Wembanyama, Devin Vassell, stephon Castle, Jeremy Sochan and veteran floor general Chris Paul.
The Kings, on the other hand, will have the microwave scoring power of LaVine, who is notching 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists a contest.
He will team up with DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabontis as the 24-24 Kings try to return to the playoffs.
The 21-29 Chicago, meanwhile, seemed headed to another rebuilding year as they bid goodbye to one of the best scorers of the league.
This trade came in almost a day after what seemed to be the most shocking trade in NBA history, when the Los Angeles Lakers traded for Luka Doncic in exchange for Anthony Davis.
