Sen. Robinhood "Robin" C. Padilla on Wednesday upheld the Philippines' rights over Sabah by introducing an amendment to the proposed Philippine Maritime Zones Act.
Mr. President, dear colleagues, it is my privilege to co-sponsor this measure borne of necessity. The pandemic pushed us to rely on online financial transactions heavily. With a spike in digital transactions came a spike in fraud as well.

Senator Mark Villar delivered his sponsorship speech on the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act or AFASA before the Senate floor. His sponsorship was overwhelmingly supported by the Senate as the Senate President Migz Zubiri, Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, and Senators Win Gatchalian, Bong Revilla, Jinggoy Estrada have also delivered their co-sponsorship speeches, supporting the AFASA bill.
The Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM 2) found that, since 1996, no single entity has availed of tax incentives under the Dual Training System Act (RA 7686) and Adopt-A-School Law (RA 8525), according to the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Sen. Grace Poe appealed to employers to provide allowances and benefits to their workers to help them cope with the rising prices of commodities and fuel products.
