Army concludes a safe and secured Undas 2023
The Philippine Army, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP), successfully ensured a safe and secured All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day by providing security assistance in different areas of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao from October 31 to November 2, 2023, In Luzon, the Headquarters Philippine Army troops facilitated and provided security to a total of 84,300 visitors who paid their respect to their departed loved ones during the observance of Undas at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. In Visayas, the 79th Infantry Battalion (79IB), under the operational control of the 3rd Infantry Division (3ID), also deployed its troops in all public and private cemeteries of Northern Negros to augment the PNP to ensure the safety of visitors.
