(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has granted service recognition incentive (SRI) to government employees starting Dec. 15, Malacañang said Friday. Marcos, through Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, signed on Dec. 12 Administrative Order (AO) 27, granting the additional cash incentive for state workers. Under AO 27, workers in the executive branch will receive SRI amounting to P20,000 each. Qualified for the one-time SRI are civilian personnel in national government agencies, including those in state universities and colleges, and government-owned and controlled corporations occupying regular, contractual or casual positions.
