(2024.09.11) The Senate Committee on Finance, chaired by Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, approved and endorsed to the main Committee the proposed budget of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) for Fiscal Year 2025
The Senate Committee on Finance, Sub-Committee N, chaired by Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, approved and endorsed to the main Committee the proposed budget of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) for Fiscal Year 2025, which was held at Sen. Laurel Room, 11 September 2024.
Secretary Mark Llandro L. Mendoza, together with other officials of the PLLO, presented to the said committee the details, plans, and programs of the Office in line with the proposed budget for FY 2024. The budget presentation included the presentation of accomplishments of PLLO vis-a-vis the targets the agency set for 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. Sec. Mendoza, upong query of
Sen. Ejercito, made a quick run-through of the status of bills included in the Presidential Legislative Agenda (PLA) and the Common Legislative Agenda (CLA) of the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC).
Senator Ejercito also conveyed the importance of the budget of PLLO to enable the agency to fulfill its mandate and more efficiently pass laws by improving the Executive and Legislative Branches relationship.
