(2024.10.11) PLLO conducted Focus Group Discussion and High-Level Meeting at the Novotel Manila Araneta City

Pursuant to the Presidential Directive and agreements made during the 6th LEDAC Full Council meeting held on 25 September 2024 and further instruction from the Office of the Executive Secretary, the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) conducted the following activities at the Novotel Manila Araneta City, 11 October 2024:

1. Focus Group Discussion on the proposed amendments on the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Act
2. c on the proposed Department of Water Resources Act
3. High-Level Meeting on the Waste-to-Energy Act

Each group focused on refining contentious provisions of the proposed bills and discussing comments of the agencies present.

Undersecretary Bernardino Sayo (PLLO-Senate) and Undersecretary Agapito Guanlao (PLLO-HREP) facilitated the discussions and consolidated the inputs, concerns, and queries of various agencies and stakeholders on the aforementioned measures.
