4 die in Cotabato, Pangasinan motorcycle collisions
MANILA, Philippines — Four persons, including two college teachers, died in separate motorcycle accidents in Tupi town, South Cotabato and Alaminos City in Pangasinan.
In Cotabato, Police Regional Office 12 director Brig. Gen. James Gulmatico said three women – Rezile De Padua, Glykiel Jade Bico and Jonaira Ambaco – died after their motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck along the Koronadal-General Santos Highway in Barangay Crossing Rubber.
Gulmatico said De Padua and Bico were teachers at the Southeast Asian Institute of Technology in Tupi. Ambaco was a senior criminology student of the school.
In Alaminos City, fisherman Henry Gallardo died when a motorcycle rammed the tricycle he was driving along the national road in Barangay San Roque on Friday.
Gallardo was declared dead on arrival at the Western Pangasinan District Hospital, where motorcycle riders Jeremie Operia and Ronnie Carolino are recuperating from serious injuries.
