A1 reveals secret for staying together

MANILA, Philippines — British-Norwegian boy band A1 revealed that it is their fans that fueled them to stay together as a group for 25 years.

Philstar.com asked Ben Adams, Paul Marazzi, Mark Read and Christian Ingebrigtsen during the press conference of their 25th anniversary concert earlier today what's their secret in staying together since many other boy bands have disbanded.

"They just really want to hangout with me a lot," Ben joked.

Christian explained that it is their fans and they are very thankful for them.

"It's our fans. We have to thank them for still doing this after all this years. We are so grateful that after 25 years, after we wrote some of these songs, people wanted to still hear our songs," he said.

"When we come here, it's so fantastic, the greetings, the smiles we enjoyed it and that makes us so happy and makes us continue what we do," he added.

A1's tour is aptly named "TWENTY FIVE," and their Philippine concert comes five years after the boy band's last visit to the country.

Presented by Concert Republic, A1 TWENTY FIVE will be held in SMX Convention Center, Davao on October 12, Waterfront City Hotel & Casino, Cebu on October 13 and New Frontier Theater, Quezon City on October 14 and 15.

A1 is best known for their early hits "Like A Rose," "Everytime," and "Heaven By Your Side," as well as a cover of a-ha's "Take on Me."
