Adamson's Toring forgoes final UAAP playing year, signs with Farm Fresh in PVL

MANILA, Philippines -- After sustaining a UAAP career-ending injury, Lorene Toring is going pro.

Toring, who sustained an ACL injury last month, is now part of the Farm Fresh Foxies, the team announced Saturday.

“Additional height, power, and speed? Yessir! Middle blocker Lorene Toring signs with Farm Fresh ahead of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference!” the team posted on Facebook.

The announcement came the same day the middle blocker turned 24.

The former Adamson Lady Falcon last week announced that she will have to sit out her final UAAP season due to the ACL injury.

In the pro ranks, she will be reuniting with former Lady Falcons Trisha Tubu, Kate Santiago, Cae Lazo, Ckyle Tagsip and Louie Romero.

She will also be coached by former Adamson head coach Jerry Yee.

The 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference will start on February 20.
