‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ stars also shocked at finale

MANILA, Philippines — “Can’t Buy Me Love” stars like Vivoree Esclito and Karina Bautista did not know who the real killer was in the hit ABS-CBN and Netflix series until they shot the last episode, the stars told Philstar.com in an exclusive interview recently at the launch of Coca-Cola Foodmarks in Binondo, Manila.

“At first, hindi po talaga kasi the whole series, hindi po sila talaga nagbibigay ng obvious na signs para hanggang dulo, aabangan talaga ng mga tao, magugulat talaga ‘yung mga tao,” Vivoree said.

Karina, likewise, found the ending “enexpected.”

“Oh my gosh, sobrang unexpected s’ya. And as you know, hindi naming talaga alam until the end. So lahat kami nanghuhula,” she said.

Both Karina and Vivoree had different guesses on who the real killer was until it was finally revealed at the finale.

“Kahit kami na cast, nagulat din kami, pero it all makes sense,” Vivoree enthused.

Coca-Cola Foodmarks campaign aims to put a spotlight on unique “food landmarks” that define vibrant Filipino culture. As part of the program, the beverage brand designated a “Foodmarks” signage on heritage food destinations in Binondo, and soon all over the Philippines, which can be accessed as a suggested dining list for food trippers via a mobile application map, https://www.coca-cola.com/ph/en/offerings/foodmarks. — Videos by Deni Rose M.
