COVID vax certificates free of charge – DOH

THE Department of Health (DOH) yesterday warned the public against the existence of bogus accounts that offer digital coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine certificates to the public for a fee.

In its advisory, the DOH said that “ VaxCert (vaccination certificate) remains free of charge.”

“The DOH warns the public against fake accounts that imitate VaxCert PH and ask for registration charges. The Department reminds everyone to be very cautious when following accounts that resemble or imitate national government officials or health personalities,” it also said.

The health department stressed that the official digital vaccination certificate (DVC) for Filipinos and non-Filipinos vaccinated in the Philippines does not require any payments.

The agency urged the public to rely on official websites and social media accounts of the DOH for valid information.

“The DOH continues to call on the public to source information only from legitimate sources and platforms, such as the health department,” said the DOH.

VaxCertPH is the official digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate for Filipinos and foreigners vaccinated in the Philippines that may be used for international and domestic travel.
