DP World, ATI help turn PH into economic hub

DP World and Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) are playing a key role in transforming the Philippines into a major economic hub in Southeast Asia through ongoing infrastructure investments and trade efficiency improvements.

«Our nearly two-decade partnership with ATI has been crucial to our growth in the Philippines. By combining DP World's global logistics expertise with ATI's local connections, we're connecting Filipino businesses to domestic and international markets,» said Hilton.

The partnership also focuses on improving domestic connectivity within the Philippines. Initiatives such as regular container shuttle services between Tanza and Manila, and the expansion of the Batangas passenger terminal's capacity to handle 8 million passengers annually aim to strengthen inter-island trade.

Boosting regional and global trade

The Philippines' strategic location and growing economy make it a vital regional and global trade player. DP World's investments are enhancing trade efficiency across Southeast Asia. The country's involvement in free trade agreements, such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, positions it as a gateway for international trade.
