F2 turns back Galeries in Ilocos Sur

MANILA, Philippines — F2 Logistics overcame an error-prone game as it survived Galeries Tower, 25-15, 25-22, 25-17, yesterday to boost its semifinal stock in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.

Ara Galang, for the first time in a while, emerged her team’s best performer after she unleashed 14 points while Jolina dela Cruz and former UAAP MVP Mary Joy Baron scattered 11 and 10 hits, respectively in helping lift the Cargo Movers to their second straight win after a five-set loss to Akari less than two weeks ago.

It wasn’t pretty though as F2 committed 24 errors.

“Siyempre it’s not perfect, that’s how it is,” said F2 coach Regine Diego.
