Giuseppe FC bags second U13 crown in AIA 7’s | The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — The Giuseppe FC claimed another championship title in the Under 13 category of  AIA 7’s Football Festival 2024 at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex recently.

Led by Most Valuable Player (MVP) awardee Darl Matthew Pantinople, the Guiseppe booters downed Cebu FC, 2-0, in the final match during Round 2 a fortnight ago.

   Coach Reeve Andre Sumayod was hailed as the SuperB Coach in the said age group, while Mael Christin was honored as the Best Goal Keeper.

Joining Pantinople and Christin on the team are Gyle Veloso, Ezethomas Omega, James Torillo, Jhames Mikhael Gavas, Josea Benedict Mabini, Jhairel Rosel, John Riekz Llorag, Franz Juntilla, Charles Lejarzo, Joshua Hendin, Kael Andreas Arriola, and Sealtiel Royce Luzano.

It was Guiseppe’s second straight crown in the AIA 7’s and third overall since reigning supreme in the 6th Magis Eagles Football Cup of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu last February.

Under the guidance of head coach Hayato Ayabe, Giuseppe FC is committed to fostering young talents, promoting a love for the game, and continuing its mission of developing skilled athletes while encouraging a strong sense of community through football.
