ICTSI recognized for governance, CSR
INTERNATIONAL Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) has garnered multiple recognitions from leading investment institutions and agencies as one of the top Asian companies that has shown all-around governance excellence and social responsibility efforts.
In the 2022 Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll by Asiamoney, ICTSI was named the most outstanding company in the Philippines under the Transportation Sector category. The accolade was based on financial performance, management excellence, investor relations and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This recognition came after votes from over 1,200 fund managers, research analysts and bankers across 12 Asian markets.
At the 13th Asian Excellence Awards, Hong Kong-based Corporate Governance Asia named ICTSI the Best Investor Relations Company in the Philippines and Asia's Best CSR.
Enrique Razon Jr., ICTSI's chairman and president, was hailed as Asia's Best CEO (Investor Relations), while Rafael Consing Jr., former senior vice president and chief financial officer, received the title of Asia's Best CFO (Investor Relations), and Arthur Tabuena was recognized as the Philippines' Best Investor Relations Professional.
The Asian Excellence Awards evaluate companies for their management skills, financial performance, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and investor relations, encompassing countries such as China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Alpha Southeast Asia also honored ICTSI with three awards in the 13th Annual Institutional Investor Awards, designating it as one of the best-managed companies in the Philippines. ICTSI secured recognition for Best Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Best Annual Report in the Philippines. The Institutional Investor Awards assess performance in financial management, corporate governance, integrated reporting/CSR, and IR.
