Jeep shows off new Rubicon

JEEP, the iconic brand that has heavily influenced Filipino public transportation, has just introduced a new model: the Wrangler Rubicon.
This off-roading icon stays true to its roots while receiving impressive updates, making it even more capable and appealing to adventure-seekers across the country.
At first glance, the new Wrangler Rubicon might look the same. It remains unmistakably Jeep, holding onto its rugged, boxy aesthetic that off-road enthusiasts love, with a few modern touches.
It still features the signature seven-slot grille, round headlights, and flared fenders, along with high ground clearance and beefy 33-inch all-terrain tires that scream adventure.

The Rubicon continues to offer its iconic removable doors and roof, along with the fold-down windshield, adding versatility and allowing you to fully enjoy the elements when the terrain calls for it.
One of the key highlights is the new selection of colors, adding flair to its already bold personality. Whether you're driving through the mountains of Benguet or the beaches of Zambales, the Rubicon feels right at home in the Philippines' diverse landscapes. LED lighting all around ensures visibility no matter where your off-road escapades take you.
Under the hood, the Wrangler Rubicon boasts of a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, delivering 268 horsepower and 400 Newton-meters of torque. For off-roading enthusiasts, that power translates to exceptional performance on uneven terrain. The eight-speed automatic transmission is smooth, and when paired with Jeep's Rock-Trac 4x4 system, you get superior control on tough trails. With front and rear locking differentials, an electronic sway bar disconnect, and impressive articulation, the Rubicon can tackle even the most challenging trails in the Philippines with ease.
On highways and city roads, the ride might feel a bit stiff compared to other SUVs, but that's expected from a vehicle built to conquer tough terrain. Still, its handling is respectable for a vehicle with such an off-road focus, making it a reasonable choice for urban driving, especially if you enjoy standing out with a rugged, adventurous ride.
