LPA exits PAR; isolated rains expected

MANILA, Philippines — The low-pressure area last detected in the northern part of the country has exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

The weather disturbance left PAR at around 2 p.m. and did not have any effect over the country.

The weak southwest monsoon will bring isolated rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands while generally good weather with isolated rainshowers is forecast for the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country may see isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperatures in Metro Manila will range between 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
