Marcos referees in Congress squabble on people's initiative
MANILA, Philippines: President Ferdinand «Bongbong» Marcos Jr. held separate executive sessions with the leaders of both houses of Congress amid the ongoing squabbles on the people's initiative.
Senate Majority Leader Emmanuel «Joel» Villanueva said that the scheduled Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) meeting was canceled solely to give way to the «urgent» executive sessions between the President and the leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
