Missing beauty queen seen bloodied, witnesses say

MANILA, Philippines — Missing Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate Catherine Camilon was seen bloodied while being carried by three people from her vehicle, according to the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

In an interview over GMA News yesterday, CIDG director Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat Jr. said two witnesses have come forward, claiming they saw Camilon with blood in her head while being transferred to another vehicle.

The incident reportedly occurred in a vacant lot in Bauan, Batangas, Caramat said.

In their sworn statement, the witnesses said the men carrying Camilon saw them and ordered them to leave the place at gunpoint.

Camilon was reported missing on Oct. 12.

The Philippine National Police had earlier tagged a policeman as a person of interest in Camilon’s disappearance.

The policeman is said to be Camilon’s boyfriend, whom she was supposed to meet when she went missing.
