Nearly 400 applicants gain jobs in DOH job fairs
CLOSE to 400 applicants have been hired in the ongoing three-day job fairs being conducted by the Department of Health (DOH) in different government hospitals nationwide.
In a statement, the DOH reported that it is hopeful that more applicants would be hired in a bid to gain more health workers in the country.
“The Department welcomes a significant number of applicants, who aspire to be part of the health workforce through this Job Fair,” said the DOH.
“More applicants are expected to join the 375 applicants already accepted,” it added.
Last Tuesday, the DOH opened the three-day job fairs held simultaneously in 76 sites across the country.
Among the sites are the Department of Health Central Office, Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, East Avenue Medical Center, Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (Including Geriatric & General Health Services), Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center, National Center For Mental Health, National Children’S Hospital, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Rizal Medical Center, San Lazaro Hospital, Tondo Medical Center, Valenzuela Medical Center, and Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Also hosting job fairs are Center for Health Development Western Visayas, Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, Don Jose S. Monfort Medical Center, Western Visayas Medical Center, Western Visayas Sanitarium, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Pototan, Iloilo, Cebu South Medical Center (Talisay District Hospital), Center for Health Development Central Visayas, Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital, Eversley Child Sanitarium and General Hospital, Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital, Saint Anthony Mother and Child Hospital, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Argao, Cebu, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Cebu City, and Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center.
Job fairs are also being held in Zamboanga City Medical Center, Sulu Sanitarium and General Hospital, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Zamboanga City, Camiguin General Hospital, Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao, First Misamis Oriental General Hospital,
