New E-Hybrid model electrifies Porsche Cayenne range

THE 2024 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid has recently been unveiled in the Philippines, injecting a dose of electrification into the facelifted Cayenne range. The Cayenne E-Hybrid's launch coincides with Porsche's 75th brand anniversary and follows three months after the standard Cayenne created waves at the brand's 27th anniversary celebration in the Philippines. Talk about having two anniversary celebrations in one year.

Thanks to the 33.9-kilowatt-hour battery, it offers a WLTP-rated range of up to 74 kilometers and can accept up to 11 kW of AC (alternating current) charging.

Aside from its electrified drivetrain, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid benefits from various chassis upgrades for this model year. This includes the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), with new two-valve adaptive shocks featuring separate rebound and compression stages for improved handling and ride in all conditions. An optional air suspension is also available.

Regarding design, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid features exterior enhancements for this model year, with nearly every body panel being new for both the standard Cayenne and the coupe version. Notable changes include new adaptive matrix technology in the reshaped LED headlights, a more angular front bumper, new full-width LED tail lights, and reshaped fenders that contribute to a wider stance.

Moving inside, substantial aesthetic changes are evident, drawing inspiration from the Taycan electric sports sedan. The Cayenne adopts the same frameless 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster and steering wheel design. The electronic gear shifter is replaced by a small toggle near the
