New players, system to boost PLDT High Speed Hitters in coming PVL conference, says coach

“We have new players who can help us, and we look forward to them gelling and supporting the core of the team. We’re also banking on our system, we hope that everyone can show their improvement in this conference,” said Coach Rald Ricafort.

Middle blocker and team captain Mika Reyes also said that the team can hopefully avoid injuries this season. “We also hope to see the fruits of our hard work during the offseason.”

Meanwhile, fresh recruit and US NCAA outside hitter Filipino-Canadian Savannah Davison shared that she looks forward to the competition. “I can’t wait to experience it. I’m also excited for PLDT and our team, and how far we can go in this conference. I feel like we have a really good chance this year,” she said.

Twelve teams will compete this year during the second All-Filipino Conference in the pro-league.
