NUJP calls on newsrooms to address employee concerns amid reports of media company shutdown

MANILA, Philippines: The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) called on the management of newsrooms and news organizations to address the concerns of their employees, amid reports that media company CNN Philippines is shutting down.

The group, in a statement on Friday, said those producing content for the channel are the last to know.
