PAGASA Planetarium in Quezon City reopens after renovations

MANILA, Philippines — The Planetarium at the PAGASA Central Office in Quezon City is open once more to the public following the completion of its renovation.

Administrator Nathaniel Servando announced the planetarium's reopening on its official Facebook account.

"The renovated planetarium will continue to offer educational and entertaining shows about basic astronomy and the night sky," said PAGASA.

"With a 90-seating capacity, it serves as a venue for learning and understanding the universe by offering lectures on the basics of Astronomy and celestial navigation to students and the general public."

The planetarium is open from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. with an entrance fee of P25 per person.

Earlier this year, PAGASA opened the first planetarium in Mindanao located in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
