PH factory activity up in February

DOMESTIC manufacturing conditions improved in February as orders rose but output slowed due to raw material shortages, S&P Global Market Intelligence said on Friday.

The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for the sector rose to 51.0 in February, up from 50.9 a month earlier. PMI readings above 50 point to growth, while those below indicate a contraction.
