Request to stop PhilHealth premium hike under study
(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is studying the request made by the Department of Health (DoH) to defer the implementation of the 5 percent hike in contributions to the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), Malacañang said Wednesday.
Health Secretary Ted Herbosa earlier said that he sent a letter to the President requesting the suspension of the PhilHealth premium rate increase this year.
