'RuPaul's Drag Race' - 20+ Contestants Have Come Out As Trans Since Competing On Reality Show

Quite a few stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race have opened up about their identity since being on the show.

The reality competition has seen hundreds of drag performers compete for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” since it first debuted in 2009.

Across 16 regular seasons, several All Stars seasons and multiple spinoffs and versions across the entire world, the competitors have gone to gain much success following their time competing in the RuPaul-hosted series.

While the series previously mainly only cast gay males impersonating females, there has since been a straight male competitor, several Trans women and a Trans man.

RuPaul’s Drag Race has had 210 competitors on the main, flagship series in the US. The show has also expanded across the world with 15 international versions, including the likes of Canada, UK, Thailand, Philippines, France, Mexico and more!

Many who competed on the show identified as male at the time of filming, there have been many who have come out as Trans women following their time on the show, and there has even been some who came out on the show.

We have gathered the 20+ performers who have come out as Trans on or after the show, and we compiled a comprehensive list all in one place.
