Shabu worth ₱28M seized in Bacoor, 4 suspects arrested
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 10) — Authorities confiscated at least 3.5 kilograms of suspected shabu worth ₱28 million in Bacoor, Cavite.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the buy-bust operation took place at Springville South Phase 2, Brgy. Molino around 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.
Four suspects – Montaha Abbas, 43; Datu Bandong, 37; Norhata Abbas, 39; and Elsie Bandong, 37 – were arrested.
Cases for violation of Article 2 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them, PDEA said.
Buy-bust money, cellphones, and a notebook containing drug transactions were also seized in the operation.
