Team Liquid Echo sweeps Falcon AP Bren to rule MPL Philippines Season 13

MANILA, Philippines – Team Liquid Echo swept Falcons AP Bren, 4-0, to claim the crown in the 13th Season of the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines.

It was a battle of titans as the top two seeds from the regular season faced off. Both rosters have had previous championships under their belt as well as an M-Series World Championship trophy.

Game 1 saw both teams at a stalemate until the 12th minute when four players on the side of Falcons AP Bren were out of the game, giving Team Liquid Echo the push to take the opener. The Cavalry continued to ride the winning momentum after taking a 9-0 lead in Game Two 2, which proved too difficult for the hive to overcome.

Falcons AP Bren tried for early aggression in Game 3, drawing first blood, but Team Liquid Echo secured most of the objectives to propel them to match point.

Game 4 saw Falcons AP Bren take control of the early to mid-game, but as Team Liquid Echo started to take key objectives in the late game, the Cavalry managed to decrease the gold lead and tried to contest for the lord by the 18th minute.

This proved to be the turning point of the game, which saw nine players down and Alston "Sanji" Pabico the sole survivor. As the crowd cheered for Team Liquid Echo, the All-Star Midlaner marched toward Falcons AP Bren's base to complete the sweep.

The title is the second for the previously known Echo roster while it is the third championship for jungler Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno and roamer Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz.

Both Team Liquid Echo and Falcons AP Bren will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Mobile Legends Mid-Season Cup (MSC) in the coming Esports World Cup happening in RIyadh, Saudi Arabia next month.
