MAKATI City Mayor Mar-len Abigail «Abby» Binay-Campos on Friday rebuked an advertising campaign that changes street signage along Gil Puyat Avenue, saying her office has not received any request for permit. In a Facebook statement on Friday, Binay said she would have rejected right away any request for permission to change Gil Puyat Avenue's street signs. «The city officials who issued the permit should have exercised prudence. They should have been more thorough,» she wrote. Likewise, she said that she has reprimanded the officials responsible for issuing the permits to change the signs, which was changed from Gil Puyat to «Gil Tulog.»
