Toyota presents pioneering solutions at Japan Mobility Show 2023

TOYOTA took center stage on the opening day of the Japan Mobility Show 2023, dazzling the audience with a remarkable array of groundbreaking mobility solutions poised to redefine the future of transportation. Under the theme «Let's Change the Future of Cars? Find Your Future,» Toyota's presence at the event was a beacon of innovation and personalization.

Koji Sato, Toyota Motor Corp. president, presented a series of concept cars at the Toyota booth, attracting a throng of international motoring journalists.

The Toyota Kayoibako. Returning to the roots of Toyota’s IMV project, the IMV 0 placed users at the heart of the mobility creation process. The FT-Se is a high-performance sports BEV model born from Toyota’s motorsports expertise. Under the theme ‘Let’s Change the Future of Cars? Find Your Future,’ Toyota’s presence at the event was a beacon of innovation and personalization. At the forefront of Toyota's exhibit was the IMV 0, a concept model with a pickup configuration. Returning to the roots of Toyota's IMV project, the IMV 0 placed users at the heart of the mobility creation process. A preview of the IMV was previously showcased in the Philippines during Toyota Motor Philippines' 35th anniversary as the Toyota Tamaraw concept. What set the IMV 0 apart was its remarkable customizability, allowing users to attach various components to the deck section. This free-range of customization opened doors to diverse applications, whether for business or leisure, establishing the IMV 0 as a versatile mobility solution for the future.

Measuring 5,300 mm in length, 1,785 mm in width, and 1,740 mm in height, the IMV 0 boasts of a wheelbase of 3,085 mm and offered comfortable seating for two passengers. Toyota's efficient global production and supply system added to the IMV 0's allure, ensuring worldwide accessibility for customers.
