Trust in Marcos down in Q3 – SWS poll
MANILA, Philippines — Pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS) has confirmed a commissioned survey showing a seven-point drop in the trust ratings of President Marcos.
The Sept. 14 to 23 survey, commissioned by Stratbase ADR Institute, showed 57 percent of the respondents saying they trust the President.
It was down from 64 percent who said they trusted Marcos in a similar survey in June.
Those who distrust Marcos increased from 21 percent to 25 percent, while those who were undecided increased from 14 percent to 17 percent.
The latest poll resulted in a net trust rating of +33 for Marcos, down from +42 in June.
SWS did not release other information on the results, such as the breakdown of the President’s trust ratings across geographic areas and socio-economic classes.
The survey had 1,500 respondents and a margin of error of plus/minus 2.5 percent.
