Bus operator releases cash aid to victims of Antique bus crash
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 8) — The operator of the Ceres Bus Liner involved in the fatal accident in Antique's «killer curve» has already provided initial financial assistance to the victims.
Victims who are in the hospital received ₱10,000 each while the families of those who died got ₱50,000 each, the Antique provincial government said Friday.
The bus company said it will also reimburse the victims' recovery expenses, including hospitalization, food and physical and psychological therapy.
The passenger bus fell off a cliff in Hamtic, Antique on Tuesday, with 13 passengers dead on the spot while four more died in the hospital.
