Cebu, Sultan Kudarat bettors win P30 miliion lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A lotto player in Consolacion, Cebu and another in Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat won the jackpot in the Mega Lotto 6/45 drawn on Wednesday night.

The two hit the winning numbers 04-34-02-28-42-20, which had a total prize of P30,052,036.20, Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and vice chairman of the board, said.

Twenty-three other bettors who guessed five of the winning numbers won P32,000 each.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act or TRAIN Law.
