Quezon City bettor wins P107.5 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor in Quezon City won the P107.5-million Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot in Monday night’s draw.

The bettor, who bought a ticket from a lotto outlet in Barangay Pinyahan, guessed the winning combination 13-31-16-01-25-10 for the draw, according to Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and board vice chairman.

The PCSO said 110 bettors won P32,000 each for guessing five of the six-digit combination.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act or TRAIN Law.
