Cheaper oil prices to greet motorists in 1st week of 2024
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 1)— Fuel companies are set to implement a price rollback in the first week of the new year.
In separate advisories, Seaoil and Petro Gazz said the per liter cost of gasoline will go down by 10 centavos, diesel by 35 centavos, and kerosene by ₱1.40 effective on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
Meanwhile, Petron said it will implement a ₱3.40 per kg (VAT-incl) increase in its LPG prices effective this Monday at noon.
“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of January,” Petron said.
Based on the Department of Energy's Dec. 26 data, price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date increase of ₱12.60 for gasoline, ₱5.65 for diesel, and ₱1.24 for kerosene.
