Choco Mucho joins PVL sister team Creamline as Allianz PNB Life ambassadors

MANILA, Philippines – Don’t be surprised if sister teams Creamline and Choco Mucho end up battling in a dream finals encore in the Premier Volleyball League, which ushers in its All-Filipino Conference on February 20 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Both the Cool Smashers and the Flying Titans, who fought in an epic, record-breaking final last conference that ended in a Creamline championship, appeared upbeat with their respective chances after claiming some key new pieces a month ago.

“We’re happy to have them, maganda naman tinatakbo ng team,” said Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses during Thursday night’s partnership by the franchise and Choco Mucho with Allianz PNB Life at the Aster Events Place in Mandaluyong, referring to the acquisition of Bea de Leon and Denden Lazaro-Revilla.

“Hopefully, maganda ipakita namin ulit itong parating na conference,” said Choco Mucho mentor Dante Alinsunurin, who took in Mars Alba, Mean Mendrez and Bia General.

Choco Mucho joined Creamline and the Cool Smashers’ unquestioned leader Alyssa Valdez and Paris Olympics-bound pole-vaulter EJ Obiena as Allianz PNB Life ambassadors.

“Families bring out the best in you and I’m excited to see our sister team join,” said Valdez.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Choco Mucho Flying Titans to the Allianz athlete family,” said Allianz PNB Life president and CEO Joe Gross. “Allianz supports about 150 athletes globally as they embody and share the values and attributes of our employees.”

“Sports has been a medium to bring people together and celebrate unity and the human spirit,” he added.

“We at Rebisco are deeply honored to be part of the Allianz family. We are grateful for our partnership, which contributes to nation building by supporting athletes,” said Rebisco president Jonathan Ng.
