Court orders regularization of over 7K PLDT 'contractual employees'

MANILA, Philippines: The Supreme Court has ordered the regularization of over 7,000 «contractual employees» of PLDT engaged in line installation, repair, and maintenance.

The decision issued by the First Division and written by Associate Justice Rodil Zalameda affirmed a Court of Appeals (CA) ruling that found PLDT and its contractor committed labor violations.
