Creamline coach airs confidence
MANILA, Philippines — Don’t be surprised if sister teams Creamline and Choco Mucho end up battling in a dream finals encore in the Premier Volleyball League, which ushers in its All-Filipino Conference on Feb. 20 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Cool Smashers and the Flying Titans, who fought in an epic, record-breaking final last conference that ended in a Creamline championship, appeared upbeat with their respective chances after claiming some key new pieces a month ago.
“We’re happy to have them, maganda naman tinatakbo ng team,” said Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses during Thursday night’s launch of the partnership between the sister teams and Allianz PNB Life at the Aster Events Place in Mandaluyong. He was referring to the acquisition of Bea de Leon and Denden Lazaro-Revilla.
“Hopefully, maganda ipakita namin ulit,” said Choco Mucho mentor Dante Alinsunurin.
