Creamline tackles Chery Tiggo

MANILA, Philippines — Creamline aims to reclaim the solo lead as it tackles an unpredictable Chery Tiggo today in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna.

The Cool Smashers are tied with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, their sister team, at the helm with pristine 4-0 records but should move ahead alone on top again if the former could hurdle the Crossovers, who are shockingly in the middle of the pack after a shaky 2-2 start.

Game time is at 2 p.m.

Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses has been shuffling his players and utilizing more of his bench in their first four outings including a 25-13, 25-13, 25-19 rout of Strong Group Athletics Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena.

While Creamline is in cloud nine, Chery Tiggo has been in turmoil after absorbing a shock 25-23, 25-22, 25-16 defeat to a youthful Farm Fresh a week ago at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.

Also in today’s cards are Galeries Tower (0-4) versus Capital1 Solar Energy (1-3) at 4 p.m. and sister teams Nxled (1-3) against Akari (1-3) at 6 p.m.
