DARPO Isabela conducts Farmers' Forum on RA 11953 and its IRR

TUGUEGARAO CITY- The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office of Isabela conducted a Farmers' Forum held on October 5-6, 2023 at Amity Hotel, Cauayan City, Isabela. The event focused on the significance of RA No. 11953 otherwise known as “The New Agrarian Emancipation Act” and other related matters concerning farmers' rights.

This forum featured keynote speaker Atty. Vicky Runa A. Dulay-Marcos, a prominent legal expert in the field of agrarian reform.

Her insights and expertise provided invaluable knowledge to the participants. The event brought together Municipal Agrarian Reform Officers and selected Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries from each municipality of Isabela. Through workshops, discussions, and presentations, attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of the new law and how it impacted the lives of farmers.

DAR Cagayan Valley was committed to advancing the welfare and rights of farmers and was dedicated to creating a platform where stakeholders could engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
