Definitely for collectors

Ford Philippines last week unveiled two of its most iconic brands for car enthusiasts at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila – the all-new Ford Mustang and the off-road sports utility vehicle Ford Bronco.

The two vehicles, mind you, are not really for ordinary car owners, but for those who have a passion for iconic models and who can afford to collect them.

With a price tag of almost P4 million for the seventh generation sports coupe, the latest Mustang model promises to give customers a different level of pony power. It actually comes in two variants: the 5.0L GT premium fastback with a starting retail price of P3,999,000 and the 2.3L EcoBoost premium fastback that starts at P3,499,000.

The EcoBoost premium fastback variant, meanwhile, has a 2.3L EcoBoost engine to power a 10-speed select-shift automatic transmission capable of producing 319 PS of power and 475 Nm of torque.

A new magnesium-framed 13-inch colored center display offers seamless connectivity with the vehicle, with Sync 4 and enhanced voice recognition, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, and wireless mobile charging.

The current Mustang model also comes with Ford Co-Pilot360 technology that actively assists drivers while enhancing the overall road experience. It has a blind spot information system (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert and braking, auto
