DepEd eases uniform rule for teachers
THE Department of Education (DepEd) is allowing teachers and non-teaching staff to wear alternate uniforms because of the hot weather.
On its Facebook page on Monday, the department posted a guide on the alternate uniforms teachers could wear.
One of the alternate uniforms is the collared DepEd polo shirt used in past DepEd events and activities, including the Brigada Eskwela, Palarong Pambansa, Oplan Balik Eskwela, and regional/division/school conferences.
The other alternate uniform is the white collared polo shirt with the DepEd and Matatag logo.
The alternate uniforms should be paired with matte black pants of any fabric.
Leggings, tights and jogging pants are not allowed.
