DoLE hosts job fairs on Independence Day

THE Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) said it would hold job fairs in 10 cities across Metro Manila on June 12, Independence Day.

Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said on Thursday that 500 companies would participate in the event, offering 31,350 local and overseas job openings.

«But we expect it to further increase or even surpass the job offers in past job fairs that were offered by companies as we encourage more employers to participate for the annual commemoration of Independence Day,» added Laguesma.
